We are seeking an experienced Mill Operator to join our growing machine shop team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating and programming Hurco CNC machines, a strong understanding of machining processes, and a commitment to precision and efficiency. This position also offers the opportunity to take on a shift leader role for qualified candidates.

• Set up, operate, and maintain Hurco CNC milling machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications.
• Write, edit, and troubleshoot CNC programs (Conversational and G-code) as needed.
• Monitor machining operations to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure they meet specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on machines and tools.
• Train and support junior machinists as a mentor and potential shift leader.
• Collaborate with the production team to improve processes and efficiency.

• 5–10 years of CNC milling experience, with a focus on Hurco machines.
• Proficiency in programming and setup of CNC mills.
• Strong understanding of machining principles, materials, and tooling.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Leadership experience or interest in managing a small team is preferred.
